The trivia points system at The Winslow is designed to make each and every round matter. This is how it works When you play an average trivia night you will play five games with ten questions each. Each correct answer awards your team one point, resulting in 50 points if you play the perfect game.
But the excitement doesn't end there. There's more. NYC Trivia League adds an added layer of fun with its bonus points system. Every day, the top 25 teams are awarded more points, with the top 10 teams receiving 5 bonus points, and the following 15 gaining 3. Over the course of the week the top 50 teams also earn bonus points which are awarded to the top 25 teams, with the best 25 receiving 10 and the second 25 receiving 5.
To calculate your total score for the league, we calculate your base score and adjust it by 100 points, considering the bonus points of 15 available each week. For example, a flawless starting score of fifty is multiplied by 85, and the bonus points are tacked on to make it a total of 100.
